Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across Eluru District. Homes, temples, markets, and public buildings were beautifully illuminated with decorative lights, oil lamps (diyas), colorful rangolis, and festive decorations, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the district.
Families gathered to perform Lakshmi Puja and Ganesh Puja, offering sweets, fruits, and flowers while praying for prosperity, happiness, and good fortune. Children and adults enjoyed the festive celebrations by exchanging sweets and gifts with relatives, friends, and neighbors, strengthening community bonds and spreading the spirit of togetherness.
