A Public Grievance Redressal meeting was organized at the Eluru District Collectorate, providing residents with an opportunity to directly present their concerns before district officials. Citizens from different parts of the district submitted petitions related to revenue matters, pensions, drinking water supply, roads, housing, agriculture, and various government welfare schemes.
Senior district officials carefully reviewed each petition and instructed the concerned departments to take immediate action. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on ensuring timely disposal of grievances, maintaining transparency in administration, and improving coordination among government departments to deliver better public services.
Officials encouraged citizens to make use of the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS), which enables people to register complaints, track their status, and access government services more efficiently. They assured the public that every genuine petition would be examined and resolved within the prescribed timelines.
The administration reiterated its commitment to citizen-centric governance and stressed that grievance meetings play a vital role in strengthening communication between the public and government authorities. Such initiatives are expected to improve service delivery, enhance accountability, and build greater public confidence in the district administration.
