To enhance employment opportunities for young job seekers, the Eluru District Administration, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and leading private companies, organized a Mega Skill Development and Employment Fair at Eluru. Hundreds of unemployed youth, college graduates, diploma holders, and ITI students participated in the event.
The job fair featured recruitment drives from reputed companies across sectors including information technology, manufacturing, banking, healthcare, retail, logistics, and customer service. Participants attended interviews, aptitude tests, and career counseling sessions while learning about various employment opportunities available in the private sector.
Apart from recruitment activities, the event included workshops on communication skills, resume writing, interview preparation, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and career planning. Industry experts guided participants on developing professional skills required in today’s competitive job market.
District officials emphasized the importance of continuous skill development and encouraged young people to enroll in government-sponsored training programs to improve employability. Many candidates received provisional offer letters on the spot, while others were shortlisted for further recruitment processes.
The administration announced that similar employment fairs and skill development programs will be organized regularly to strengthen workforce readiness and support economic growth across Eluru District. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to empowering youth through education, training, and sustainable employment opportunities.
