Thousands of devotees across Eluru District celebrated Vinayaka Chavithi with devotion by installing beautifully decorated Lord Ganesha idols, performing special poojas, and organizing colorful cultural programs.

Vinayaka Chavithi was celebrated with immense devotion and enthusiasm across Eluru District as thousands of devotees gathered at temples, community pandals, and homes to worship Lord Ganesha. Beautifully decorated idols of Lord Vinayaka were installed in various localities, attracting large numbers of devotees throughout the festival.
The celebrations began with traditional Vedic rituals, Ganapathi Homam, and special poojas performed by temple priests. Devotees offered modak, laddus, coconuts, fruits, and flowers while seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for prosperity, success, and happiness. Community organizations also arranged devotional music, bhajans, cultural performances, and spiritual discourses as part of the festivities.
District authorities, municipal officials, and police personnel made elaborate arrangements for crowd management, traffic regulation, drinking water facilities, medical assistance, and security to ensure peaceful celebrations. Volunteers actively assisted devotees and maintained cleanliness around temples and public pandals.
On the final day, grand Ganesh idol immersion processions were organized across Eluru District. Thousands of devotees participated in the colorful processions featuring traditional drum performances, devotional songs, dance groups, and decorated vehicles before immersing the idols in designated water bodies under police supervision.
